CITY GUIDE
Find cigars in Sacramento.
Sacramento’s cigar scene is pretty easy to read once you know the pattern: a handful of cigar-first places near the central city, then neighborhood shops farther out when convenience matters more than lounge time. Start around 16th Street, Downtown and Land Park if you want to make an outing of it; look closer to home if you just need a cigar for later.
GO DEEPER
A few useful ways to explore Sacramento.
Casillas Cigar Company
Cigar Lounge · Richmond Grove
Casillas is one of Sacramento’s better true shop-and-lounge stops, tucked into the 16th Street stretch in Richmond Grove. You can smoke inside, the humidor runs deep, and the mix covers premium, boutique and house cigars. This is a place to browse, pick something out and actually stay for the cigar.
Cigar Club
Cigar Shop · Point West
Cigar Club is a dedicated cigar shop in Point West, useful when you are north of the central city and want something more cigar-focused than a general smoke shop. Plasencia and Dapper are both tied to this location, but we do not currently treat it as a sit-down lounge.
Cigarettes & More
Smoke Shop · East Sacramento
Cigarettes & More is an East Sacramento neighborhood tobacco shop on Folsom Boulevard with cigars in the mix. It makes the most sense as a quick pickup if you are already on the east side, not as a place to build an evening around.
Cloud 9 - Freeport
Smoke Shop · Hollywood Park
Cloud 9 on Freeport is a practical cigar stop for Hollywood Park and the surrounding south side. It is a broad smoke shop rather than a dedicated cigar shop, but Plasencia lists this exact location as a retailer, which gives the cigar side of the store some real substance.
Cloud 9 Tobacco - Del Paso
Smoke Shop · North Natomas
The Del Paso Road Cloud 9 gives North Natomas a convenient cigar option without sending you back toward Downtown or Land Park. It is still a smoke shop first, but Plasencia lists this exact store as a retailer.
Habits Vape & Smoke Shop
Smoke Shop · College-Glen
Habits is an east-side smoke shop on Folsom Boulevard near College/Glen with cigars available in the store. It is best treated as a quick neighborhood stop rather than a place to go looking for a deep humidor or a lounge setup.
Hatuey Cigars
Cigar Lounge · Richmond Grove
Hatuey sits on 16th Street in Richmond Grove, just a few blocks from Casillas, which makes this the closest thing Sacramento has to a small cigar cluster. The shop revolves around Hatuey’s own cigars, with indoor smoking, a humidor and a premium house-driven selection.
Rio Smoke Shop
Smoke Shop · North Sacramento
Rio Smoke Shop is a straightforward North Sacramento cigar pickup on Rio Linda Boulevard. It fills a useful neighborhood role, but this is not one of the shops we would send someone across town to browse for a specific premium brand.
Smoke & Style
Smoke Shop · South Sacramento
Smoke & Style gives South Sacramento a premium-cigar option around 65th Street. It is handy if you are already on this side of town and want to avoid a separate run toward Land Park or the central city, though the shop does not publish much detail about its current cigar lineup.
Steampunk Cigar Co.
Cigar Lounge · Downtown
Steampunk is Sacramento’s clearest downtown cigar lounge. Indoor smoking, food and reservations make it easy to turn into a full evening, and the later hours separate it from the traditional cigar shops that close earlier. This is the downtown choice when sitting down matters more than humidor depth.
Tower Cigars, Inc.
Cigar Shop · Land Park
Tower is the old-school Land Park cigar shop and one of the strongest pure shopping stops in Sacramento. The walk-in humidor carries a deep premium lineup, so this is where to go when browsing the humidor is the point of the trip.
Vinny's Smokes + Vapes
Smoke Shop · South Sacramento
Vinny’s is a South Sacramento smoke-and-vape shop on 24th Street with cigars available alongside the rest of the store. It is a useful quick stop for the area, but not something we would present as a dedicated cigar destination.
