HERFIO GUIDE
Sacramento cigar shops worth making the trip for.
If you care about the humidor more than the nearest pin on the map, Sacramento has a short list of shops worth the extra drive.
THE SHORT VERSION
Tower is the Land Park humidor run, Casillas and Hatuey give 16th Street two cigar-first stops, and Cigar Club covers Point West for anyone starting north of the central city. These are the Sacramento shops that make the most sense when the cigar matters more than sheer convenience.
Tower Cigars, Inc.
Land Park
The Land Park shop has a confirmed walk-in humidor and one of Sacramento’s deepest verified premium-brand lineups.
Tower is the old-school Land Park cigar shop and one of the strongest pure shopping stops in Sacramento. The walk-in humidor carries a deep premium lineup, so this is where to go when browsing the humidor is the point of the trip.
Worth knowing: This is a buying-and-browsing stop; we do not have confirmed on-site smoking here.

Richmond Grove
A broad premium and boutique lineup, house cigars and indoor smoking make Casillas useful whether you want to shop or stay.
Casillas is one of Sacramento’s better true shop-and-lounge stops, tucked into the 16th Street stretch in Richmond Grove. You can smoke inside, the humidor runs deep, and the mix covers premium, boutique and house cigars. This is a place to browse, pick something out and actually stay for the cigar.
Worth knowing: Earlier closing hours make it less useful for a late cigar.

Richmond Grove
Hatuey is a cigar-first shop and lounge with a house-driven selection and indoor smoking.
Hatuey sits on 16th Street in Richmond Grove, just a few blocks from Casillas, which makes this the closest thing Sacramento has to a small cigar cluster. The shop revolves around Hatuey’s own cigars, with indoor smoking, a humidor and a premium house-driven selection.
Worth knowing: Most of the cigar identity here is Hatuey’s own rather than a large multi-brand roster.

Point West
Point West gets a dedicated cigar retailer with premium selection and exact-location manufacturer signals for Plasencia and Dapper.
Cigar Club is a dedicated cigar shop in Point West, useful when you are north of the central city and want something more cigar-focused than a general smoke shop. Plasencia and Dapper are both tied to this location, but we do not currently treat it as a sit-down lounge.
Worth knowing: We do not have enough evidence to describe it as an on-site smoking lounge.
See the full place profileHow we made this list: We give the edge to cigar-first retailers with stronger selection, humidor depth and current brand evidence. General smoke shops stay lower unless their cigar program is unusually well documented.
Editorial picks are separate from paid placement. Policies, hours, and cigar inventory can change, so the individual place pages show the underlying research and verification details.
