Cigar Box is right in the Crossroads and works best as a late-night bar stop that also happens to have a walk-in humidor. You can buy cigars here, but you cannot smoke them indoors, so come for the drinks, food and humidor rather than expecting a traditional cigar lounge.

Cigar Lounge · Troost / 57th Street

Cyn's sits on Troost at 57th and is built more like a true cigar room than a quick shop. You can smoke inside, there is a walk-in humidor and the selection is geared toward premium cigars. Just know that membership is part of the setup, so this is more of a planned stop.

Cigar Shop · Country Club Plaza

If you are going to the Plaza specifically to buy cigars, Diebel's is the obvious place to start. The selection is one of the deepest we found anywhere in Kansas City, and this is much more about working your way through the shelves than finding a lounge chair.

Smoke Shop · Westport

Discount Smokes is a straightforward Westport pickup. They carry cigars, but this is the kind of place you stop into because you are already nearby and need something for later, not somewhere you plan the night around.

Liquor Store · South Kansas City

The 103rd Street Gomer's is handy when you are already down south and want cigars without making another stop. There is a humidor, so you can grab a cigar along with wine, beer or spirits and keep moving.

Gomer's South on Holmes is one of the better liquor-store cigar stops in South KC. There is a humidor and a more serious premium-cigar selection than you usually get from a bottle shop, which makes it useful when you do not feel like driving back toward Midtown.

Holy Smokes sits on NE 63rd in the Northland and combines cigars with a coffee-bar setup. Hours and the current lounge details are not posted clearly, so check before making a special trip.

KC Smoke & Vape is just west of the Plaza on Westport Road and has more cigar substance than the name might make you expect. There is a humidor and a real premium-cigar section, so it works when you want recognizable brands without heading over to a dedicated tobacconist.

La Cultura is one of the easiest Crossroads stops to recommend when you actually want to stay for the cigar. You can smoke inside, the humidor runs deep and the brand list is one of the strongest in town. This is a sit-down cigar place first, not a quick in-and-out shop.

Retailer · Red Bridge

Red Bridge Market is exactly what it sounds like: a neighborhood stop in Red Bridge where cigars are part of the mix. It is convenient if you are already down that way, but it is not trying to be a cigar lounge or destination shop.

Sherri's is tucked just off 39th and gives that whole Westport/39th Street area a real place to sit down with a cigar. You can smoke inside, there is a humidor and the cigar list is broad enough that you are not walking into a token selection.

Smoke Shop · South Kansas City

Smokers Heaven on Wornall is a practical South KC tobacco stop. They carry cigars, and if you are already coming up or down Wornall it is an easy place to grab something without turning the trip into a full cigar outing.

Restaurant · Downtown

The Majestic is the downtown play when you want dinner, drinks and a cigar without bouncing all over town. Eat upstairs, then head downstairs to the Pendergast Club for indoor smoking, a full bar and a walk-in humidor. Access is membership-based or limited nightly entry, so check that part before you go.

Cigar Lounge · Northland

Outlaw is one of the more complete cigar stops north of the river. You can smoke inside, the walk-in humidor is big, the selection leans premium and there are house cigars too. If you live in the Northland, there is not much reason to cross the river just to find a serious cigar shop and lounge.

This is the Northland Total Wine on N Evanston, even though the store branding leans Liberty. There is a cigar humidor, so it works well when cigars are one part of a bigger wine or spirits run. It is a shopping stop, not a lounge.

The Main Street Total Wine is a convenient Midtown cigar pickup with a humidor inside. It makes sense when you are already running along Main or shopping for wine and spirits, not when you are looking for a dedicated cigar shop.

The Stateline Total Wine down by Martin City has a cigar humidor and fills the quick-pickup role on the far south side. It is useful for convenience, but it is not where you go to hang out with a cigar.

Two Sticks gives the east side a real cigar-lounge option on 12th Street. The hours lean into the evening and the lounge still shows up in active cigar events, though it does not put as much of its humidor and amenity detail online as some of the bigger rooms around town.

Underground is down on Grandview Road and serves the South KC crowd that wants a cigar-and-hookah lounge without heading back toward Midtown. It stays open later, but the shop does not publish much detail about its brands or lounge amenities online.

Whiskey Beard feels very Crossroads: a little different from the traditional cigar-club setup and built around hanging out rather than shopping a huge humidor. You can smoke inside, use a day pass or membership, and BYOB, so bring what you want to drink and settle in.
