San Jose Shops with Strong Premium Cigar Selection
This is the San Jose list to use when the cigar itself matters more than the distance.
THE SHORT VERSION
Mission Pipe is in a class of its own for selection, with Club Havana and West Coast Cigars not far behind. LG Cigar Club is smaller but still worth a look. If you are searching for Fuente, Padrón, Davidoff, My Father, Tatuaje or another specific premium name, these are the first places to check.
Mission Pipe Shop
The Alameda
Mission Pipe has the deepest San Jose cigar lineup we found, with dozens of brands and lines published by the shop itself.
Mission Pipe feels like an old-school San Jose tobacconist in the best way. It sits on The Alameda, has indoor smoking and a covered patio, and carries the deepest cigar lineup we found anywhere in the city.
Worth knowing: Inventory moves, so a published brand list is a strong lead rather than a promise that every size is on the shelf today.

West San Jose
Club Havana publishes a broad premium lineup with Fuente, Padrón, Davidoff, My Father, Oliva, Tatuaje and plenty more.
Club Havana is the shop to know on the west side of San Jose. Tucked into El Paseo de Saratoga, it has a strong humidor and a premium lineup that includes many of the major names serious cigar smokers look for.
Worth knowing: The strength here is shopping depth; there is no clear lounge setup.

Willow Glen
Walk-in humidor with a substantial premium lineup, including major brands and boutique names.
Just south of central Willow Glen, West Coast Cigars is one of San Jose’s easiest places to make a full cigar night out of the stop. There is indoor smoking, a big outdoor yard, BYOB and a walk-in humidor, so you can shop first and then stay awhile.
Worth knowing: The shop says the humidor is broader than the individual brands currently surfaced by Herfio.

Willow Glen
LG Cigar Club has a smaller premium lineup, but Plasencia also lists the shop as a retailer.
LG Cigar Club gives Willow Glen another true sit-down option. It is BYOB, allows indoor smoking and carries a premium-focused selection, making it a better fit for hanging out with a cigar than simply grabbing one on the way home.
Worth knowing: The selection we can name is much shorter than Mission Pipe, Club Havana or West Coast.
