AT A GLANCE
2 places in New York City currently make the Civil Pleasures list. Inventory moves, so we show the difference between brands we could verify directly and brands supported by a credible report.
Most recently verified matching venue data: September 2026.What this list means
A place only appears here when we have a credible reason to tie Civil Pleasures to that exact location. We do not copy a national catalog across every branch or assume a popular brand must be on the shelf.
Open a place to compare the smoking setup, amenities and how strong the brand confirmation is. If you are hunting a specific vitola, calling ahead is still the best move.
Barclay Rex Pipe Shop
Financial District
A Financial District tobacconist with a walk-in humidor, a public smoking lounge, premium cigars, and the private Rex Club upstairs.
Harlem Cigar Room
Hamilton Heights
A Hamilton Heights cigar lounge and shop with premium and hand-rolled cigars, BYOB-friendly lounge seating, and late hours Thursday through Saturday.
Why these places are here: the details have to support the list. We do not fill in a feature just because a place seems likely to offer it.
Brand listings are not live shelf inventory. A cigar can sell out between our last check and your visit.
